Aida Mollenkamp would play soccer and practice ballet and music before becoming the celebrated chef and television personality that she now is. She would go on to host her own cooking show in 2008, entitled Ask Aida, becoming a much-loved star on Food Network. She would also host FoodCrafters in 2010, on the Cooking Channel.
Aida Mollenkamp grew up in Southern California, attending Rolling Hills Country Day and Chadwick School in Los Angeles. Aida attended the Cornell Hotel School and graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in hospitality management. She would work in hospitality real estate consulting, and would soon move to Europe, living between Florence, Italy and Paris, France for two years. She attended culinary school and in 2004 received a Grand Diplôme from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris.
In her show FoodCrafters, Aida Mollenkamp leaves the kitchen to seek out and uncover the best handmade foods from around the nation, and the world. She would publish her first cookbook in 2012, Keys To The Kitchen: The Essential Reference for Becoming A More Accomplished, Adventurous Cook.
