X-Men: Apocalypse opens May 27, 2016 marking the ninth installment in the highly entertaining X-Men series. This time around, Director Bryan Singer and Writer Simon Kinberg has once again crafted a film worthy of it’s sure to be status as a summer blockbuster.

X-Men: Apocalypse Synopsis

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto, to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign.

As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven with the help of Professor X must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction. Synopsis written by 20th Century Fox.

Scorching the big screen this time are the awesome talents of Jennifer Lawrence as Raven/Mystique, Olivia Munn as Betsy Braddock/Psylocke, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, Monique Ganderton as Death, Alexandra Shipp as Ororo Munroe/Storm and Sophie Turner as Jean Grey.

James McAvoy once again brings us his brilliant turn as Professor Charles Xavier and joining him on this action packed journey are Michael Fassbender as Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto, Nicholas Hoult as Hank McCoy/Beast, Oscar Isaac as En Sabah Nur/Apocalypse and Evan Peters as Peter Maximoff/Quicksilver.
